I'm so sorry, I just heard today. I worked with Raz on the ASU competition for a long time, the most charming man. May he rest peacefully.

My most sincere condolences because Raz was a guy full with life,energy, fun and the craic. We went to the Christmas party in Kilkenny in 2017 when I transferred to Cork, but Raz obliged by collecting me in Youghal... A fun guy and always a pleasure to be in the car or the van with. Raz had a great way with people and was so well respected..
sorry for calling you Razvan when I arrived because I was friendly with a few Romanian guys in Wexford. And I thought it would impress... Clearly not. Raz wanted to be known as Raz. And that's the way it remained..

Raz, was an amazing person, we shared many fun Kite surfing sessions in Garrettstown / Garrylucas. Always safe, kind and very adventurous as he jumped so high. I also had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer on a few occasions. Both of ye were so mad about each other and we are truly sorry to hear of both their passing. Our thoughts and love to both their families and friends.

We were so very sad to learn of the tragic passing of Razvan and Jen. We lived across from this beautiful couple in Crosshaven before they moved to Clon. We saw the absolute love and happiness they brought to each other and the sheer joy they showed in each others company, especially when setting off with their camper and surfboards. I have fond memories of working with Raz a number of years ago when he was starting out in his career with An Garda Síochána. He always worked so hard and was very proud to wear the uniform. His sudden passing is a heartbreaking tragedy. Rest in peace.

I was heartbroken to hear of Razvan's passing. I had the privilege of meeting him a few years ago while working as a translator, and he left such a lasting impression on me. Razvan was truly a remarkable man and a dedicated Garda, with a warmth that shone through his big, friendly smile. His kindness and positivity touched everyone around him.
