I always enjoyed meeting Rebecca in London and talking about our common roots in Connemara. May she now be given that eternal rest for which we were all made. I wish to extend my sincere condolences to Michael and to all Rebecca’s family and friends.
I remember when Rebecca was PA to the then Bishop Wilson, when he was our area of Bishop in Westminster.
Rebecca, whilst always being professional, was always kind and courteous, phone calls and emails were always a pleasure receive, this along with her lovely sense of humour.
I particularly remember Rebecca and Michael joining us one year on our pilgrimage to Glastonbury. (Not for the music festival but for a Pilgrimage to honour Our Lady!)
I will offer Mass for Rebecca.
