So very sorry to all of you on the passing of Reddy.
I had the great delight in meeting Reddy when I was working as a nurse in Yeovil Hospital England, this Irish man would bob up and down the corridor like lightening next to my area of work for many weeks, I eventually asked this Doctor where he came from - he said Galway and I said the same. I told him my name and he said I only know a Paddy Shaughnessy from Dunmore and of course that was my Father. Reddy originally trained with my uncle Eamon Shaughnessy and they were very good friends. Reddy then said I am taking you to lunch on our break tomorrow, we had a lovely lunch and he had lots of great stories for me of years gone by.
You will be missed Reddy, Rest in Peace.
