It was with deep sadness and sorrow that I learnt of the passing of the lovely Lady that was Regina.
I worked with Regina for many years in the INMO and Regina was always a great work colleague who was loved by all of us and respected by everyone. Regina had that rare gift of being full of common sense which when blended with her kindness and integrity made her the wonderful person we all knew.
I send my sympathies to Tom , Catherine and Regina and all her extended family. They and we have lost one of lifes really good people.

I deem myself lucky to have been Genie’s cousin . Back in 1993 I enjoyed my honeymoon with family in Mayo . Genie and Tom took my wife and I out in Castlebar on the night Niamh Kavanagh won the Eurovision song contest . Her winning song was entitled ‘ In your eyes ‘ . Every time I looked in Genies eyes I always felt warmth and kindness and will never forget it .
