To Margaret & family, I have just heard the sad news that Reggie has passed away, I know he will be terribly missed by all who knew him, I had the privilege of knowing him these last several years. It is extremely regretful I cannot attend his funeral to pay my respects in person, you will all be in my thoughts. May he rest in peace.

I will always remember the good times we had together. I will always be grateful for his friendship especially as my partner at centre field for noamb finbarra. And his kindness when l crashed my car on carnlough road. And reggae kind words. Philly your not hurt and Sure it will only cost your pocket Thinking of you all at this sad time

I am so sorry to learn of Reggie’s passing. He was a stalwart of Mahons Printing Works, having worked for my grandfather, James, and then my father, Harry, for the best part of his lifetime. Many an apprentice learned his trade under Reggie’s watchful eye and reaped the benefit of such careful tuition, even if they quaked in their boots on occasion! As Foreman, Reggie was well-respected and he kept a tight ship on the factory floor.

It is particularly sad that we are unable to be present at Reggie’s funeral, to salute Reggie in person and to show our support to Margaret and all of Reggie’s family. I will watch his funeral service remotely and my heart will be with you all, in sympathy for your great loss. Reggie was a great man in so many ways. He was an essential part of Mahons. We will all miss him. I will miss him. May he Rest in Peace.
