Father Hally was a lovely, kind and deeply intelligent man. It was a pleasure to have known him as a student in Rockwell and since then. My condolences to his family and friends.
As a boy I recall the kindness and graciousness of the Hally family of St. Helen's Road - Brendan, his older brother Desmond and parents. Rest in Peace Fr. Brendan. My sympathies to the Hally family and all the Holy Ghost Brothers
My sympathy to Father Hally’s family on his passing. I remember him from Rockwell, he was a decent man.
So sorry to hear of the death of Fr. Brendan. He was very kind to my family when our brother Fr Michael McMahon was nearing his end at Nazareth house in August 2024. His prayers kindness and presence will never be forgotten.

Sincere sympathy to the extended family of Fr Brendan. He was a kind, gentle and caring man who always had one's best interests in mind. He was one of the good people you only occasionally meet in life.

God speed dear cousin Brendan. You have brightened my life so much in the past few years. I will miss your gentle smile and warm hugs and the walks to the Casino and the chats about childhood memories. Your passing will leave a huge gap in all our lives.
