Fr. Jim was a great influence to me in my years in The Marist, if not for him, I wouldn't be pursuing what I am now.

I'll never forget the day he introduced me to Ulysses and lit a spark for litrature within me that is still present to this day.

He was a terrific preacher and an absaloute embodiment of the catholic faith and I frequently relished his wisdom when speaking to us in religion class.

May his spirit continue to beam in this life and the next.

I am very sorry to hear of Fr. Jim's death. He was a kind and loving pastor. My condolences to his family, friends and Marist community. May he rest in peace.
Fr. Jim was a very gentle man. I knew him during my time as a teacher, where he regularly visited my RE classes and spoke with children about the issues of the day.

He was a very well respected figure within the Dundalk community and was a valued chaplin during his time in The Marist.

He was deeply committed to his faith and may rest peacefully now that his mission has been served.

Tempus Fugit.
Deepest sympathies to Fr Jim's family, to his Marist confréres, and to his many friends. He maintained an interest in education in his retirement and was a frequent, and most welcome visitor to the schools in the Holy Family parish. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
May your gentle Soul Rest in Peace Jim
