My condolences to the family of Father Joe and all who knew him! He was a family friend to my parents and we recently spoke of him! He would come out for dinner when I was a kid and we would go to the events at the SMA Fathers in Dedham. Father Joe was a great man of God and it was a joy to know him growing up. I credit him and other family friend priests to my commitment to my faith. As a kid, he would tell stories of his missions and of growing up in Ireland. I loved hearing his stories! May God bless Father Joe and may he be resting peacefully now his mission work on earth is done! God bless you Father Joe 💚☘️

He was a wonderful man and a great man for the chats. Lovely memories of him saying mass in Christys and of his visits to our home in Grange End. We had a lovely visit with him in Tennafly a good few years ago and he was so welcoming and warm.

We were saddened beyond words to read of Fr. Joe Foley's death, the good Preist and Dunshanglin Genteman whom we in the U S A got to know so well. Respected and admired for his skills in the fields of his Indaver before studying for the Priesthood. And when the great day came all Meath folks were grateful and felt honored to attend his Ordination and First Mass. Grateful for his years in Africa and upon Ff. Joes return to New York becoming Chaplin of the Co. Meath Assocation. We extend sincere condolences to Fr, Joe's Family, grateful to have known him and now pray that he Rests in Peace.

Sorry to hear of Fr Joes death.I clearly remember as a boy admiring him as an Irish International boxer.
