Dear Mary, Betty, Geraldine and Tom, my heart breaks for you, as I only know what it is to loose a parent and was hard enough like yourselves when you lost your lovey Mum and Dad, they were both like a Mum and Dad to me, remember watching the Telly in your house, especially The Fugitive, how we loved David Jensen. To loose your beautiful brother John must be so devastating and you will wonder will your Hearts ever mend, I have no doubt John is a Saint in Heaven as I write this little note and he will look after you will and walk beside you, because those we love never leave us. Sincere sympathy to all of Father John's family. We first met John over 40 years ago when he came to Greenford. We shared the good and hard times of life and enjoyed his company. May he rest in peace.

Father John was our parish priest in Hastings, East Sussex, (St Mary Star of the Sea) where he was much loved and respected. I understand our current parish priest, Father Eamonn Monson will be assisting at the mass in Fermoy. I know they were close brothers in the Pallotine order and Father John will be very sadly missed.

Got to know Fr John at the time of his ordination nearly 42 years ago and would have met him regularly down through the years when he called to Ballyadeen. A lovely man, great company, he will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. R I P Fr John.

May Father John Rest In Peace. I was reared in Oliver Plunkett Hill and knew Fr. John before he entered the priesthood. He was a sincere and gracious individual then, as I know he was when he became a priest. I did not know where he was based but it is to everyone’s loss that he was called to be by God’s side too soon. May I offer my sincerest sympathies to John’s family.
