With deepest sympathy to the family of Fr Joe. I am sad to hear of his passing. I was a class mate of Joes in Maynooth and we were both ordained 63 years ago. I had the privilege of staying with him a few years ago in Doonbeg and we enjoyed a few games of golf and reminiscing over those years we spent in Maynooth. He was a gentleman to the core and always great company , always welcoming with a big heart. Requiescat in pace. May his dear gentle soul rest in peace. Well done my good and faithful friend.
