It is with our very Deepest Sympathy we write these lines on the passing of dear Fr.PJ RIP and to
let the Gormley family know they are in our Prayers and Masses.
Fr. PJ was a lovely Priest, very jovial, reared in a Faith filled family and a friend to many.
Some of us met Fr. PJ in the late 1950s. We will never forget his visit to us in Western Australia
some years ago, a memorable occasion.
We have requested a Mass to be offered for the Happy Repose of Fr. PJ's Soul RIP

PJ was a lovely guy and a great footballer. We had many a tussle in the playing fields of Ballinafad and the local colleges together. PJ officiated at three weddings and a funeral in our family and was very special to us. He was a kind, compassionate priest who will leave a lasting legacy, especially in Zambia. Sincere condolences to his family. He was a wonderful Christian man, kind, open to all,
sincere, welcoming, committed to his deep faith and to his vocation to the missionary priesthood - a commitment he lived to the full. He will be sadly missed by all have been privileged to know him. May he now rest in perfect peace in the bosom of God. I have offered Mass for him and for the consolation of all who mourn him.

Dad knew Fr. P.J. from his time with him in Ballinafad and Dromantine and also time that he spent with him in Zambia. While dad is in declining health we know if it were otherwise he would attend the funeral to pay his respects.

Father PJ was a wonderful human being who worked hard for Ireland and Africa.He was kind,gentle and constant in his faith.His compassion touched many lives and left a wonderful legacy.

The time I spent with PJ and Father Martin in Ndola was life changing.
I never knew how much our missionary priests sacrificed to bring the gospel and Christian kindness to the forgotten, deprived people around the world.
I know he is in Gods presence now.

I studied with PJ at Dromantine and spent five years working with him in Zambia. Even though it was over 50 years ago, I have very happy memories of PJ. He was a great character and loyal to his friends. May he rest in peace.

As a student , he had a colossal presence, while on the football field he was magestic. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

We have lovely memories of Fr. PJ. visiting our home when he was a student in SMA.House in Wilton & also following his Ordination to Priesthood -our father was also from Tyrone ( Fivemiletown) so they had a lot in common.
