Dear Frank,
I was sorry to hear of your dear brother Fr. Seamus who passed away. May he and all our loved ones R.I.P. Amen. It was great having you all as neighbours and friends living in Moore Park. What a great family and the appreciation you all had for everyone.
I thought the world of your late brother Liam. I used to visit your Mum in the winter season of 1986, in Liam's residence. His wife and family were very kind to me. Many thanks to you Frank, for the lovely letter that you sent me, say early 1990's, for the appreciation you had for me, when I visited your Mum.

I am so sad to hear of Fr. Collin's passing. I met him for the first time this June when myself and my husband called down to him to ask him to do my mother in laws funeral. I knew he was from The Curragh Camp and we quickly began to talk about the history of The Camp. He described his youth there and told me about the house he grew up in. We both had a common bond having grown up in a very unique place. He left such an impression on me and I felt really connected to him. He kindly celebrated the funeral Mass of my mother in law even though he appeared frail at the time. He even embarrassed me by calling out my name at the mass, as I told him not to mention me as I was an in law and he'd have to call everyone out. He looked at me over his glasses and told me I was a Curragh person and asked me to correctly spell my name. I wish I had known him sooner. May he rest in peace in the great plains of heaven.
