Father John's summer visits to Vancouver were the highlights of many of our family summers. He was a wonderful man and priest who touched the lives of many .
An inspirational man who had a very positive impact on all his students at St Peters. Used to enjoy dropping into the Talbot hotel each year to see the latest paintings and having a quick chat. May he rest in peace.
I had the great pleasure and honour of working with Father Johnny on many a WLOS gig. He was a fantastic gentleman and musician, and I have countless fond memories of him, including having to make a collar for him out of a piece of white cardboard when he'd forgotten his own! RIP, with much love.
Very sorry to hear of the passing of Fr. Jonny, I was fortunate enough to have him as a teacher for several years in St. Peters. A true gentleman, gifted teacher who was very unassuming about his many and obvious talents.
May he rest in peace.
To Pat, Miriam and the extended family.

Sincere sympathy on your sad loss
It's the end of another era for the family.

Hilary and Deirdre Murphy,

My deepest sympathy to the family on the death of this wonderful man! His contribution to music is extraordinary. He was a gentleman but he was such fun as well. Hewill be missed but his spirit will live on. May he rest in peace.
