I have fond memories of Fr. Paddy Roe as my teacher and Rector at Queen of Apostles Seminary. I remember vividly how he drastically changed things at the institution once he arrived, by injecting new life through academics, sports, and other social activities. He made most of us to love the dreaded mathematics subject just because of how he taught it. Fr. Roe introduced athletics and QAS became the first school in Nairobi Province to beat the then unbeatable Starehe Boys school to the amazement of many. He also introduced Volleyball and as a coach, we clinched the Nairobi championship trophy hence representing the province in the national games. It was during his era at Queen of Apostles that the Seminary produced the highest number of priests. He touched and changed many lives. Many of us, past students, are what we are, because of him. We owe him big! May his soul Rest in Eternal Peace. Amen.

Fr. Roe was a priest extraordinary. I will forever treasure my time with him at Queen of Apostles Seminary. He taught us of the importance of being healthy Spiritually, Mentally and Physically. His sermons were truly transforming. He remained simple and approachable to all who needed his counsel. RIP.

Fr Roe made an indelible mark in my life at Queen of Apostles, Kenya. He was a visionary, and everyone who crossed paths with him will acknowledge that he was bright, inspiring, and visionary. He will never be forgotten.

Father Paddy Roe was my Rector at Queen of Apostles Junior Seminary. He has left an indelible mark in my life; the values he instilled in me in my youth, I still uphold today. He had an excellent mastery of math's and loved athletics. Rest well good servant.

It is with great sadness that I have learnt the passing away of Fr. Paddy. We worked with him at Tangaza college, and later used to celebrate mass at Loreto, Valley Road where I work now. I was always amazed by the many gifts that our Lord had bestowed to him. Fr. Paddy was exceptional. Fr., continue resting in heavenly peace. Amen

Fr Paddy Roe greatly impacted on our lives. He made me what i am today with his ' Spirit of Kazi Philosophy" While a student in Kenyatta University he gave me a teaching gig at Tangaza College. I will forever remain indebted to him. Rest in peace Paddy Roe.

A great man has rested. His positive impact on our youthful years at Queen of Apostles Seminary in Nairobi Kenya made us who we are today. The archdiocese of Nairobi owes him a debt of gratitude. Paddy Roe was our Principal at Tangaza College (now Tangaza University)in Nairobi,Kenya.As a teacher he played a great role of teaching minds,touching hearts and transforming lives.

Fr Paddy was a great friend to our brother Fr Michael McMahon who sadly passed away last August. We chatted to him on many occasions over the years and more recently in Nazareth house.
