Sincere condolences to The Furlong Family and to Archbishop Kieran and The Priests of the Diocese on the very sad loss of Fr Tadhg. I met Fr Tadhg just a few short weeks ago when he, along with Fr Eugene Everard celebrated The Golden Jubilee of our Church with us here in An Sean Phobal. He really enjoyed the evening, meeting those he remembered from his time here in An Rinn/An Sean Phobal...1977to 1982. Ar dheis lámh Dé go raibh a anam uasal.

Very sorry at the passing of Fr. Tadhg. God rest him. He was a gentleman in the full sense of the word. Kind, caring, respectful and sincere. He will be a huge loss to his family and of course to his beloved parish of Cappawhite. Deepest sympathy to his brothers Patrick, James and Thomas, sisters Mary, Bridget and Eileen, brother-in-law Seamus, sisters-in-law Noreen and Nora, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly, his fellow Clergy and Religious of the Cashel and Emly diocese, extended family and parishioners. Thoughts and prayers are with all the Furlong family at this time.

Fr. Tadhg was very invested in the Community Hall and the Community Field and served on many of the committees in the Village of Rosegreen. His photograph graces many of the journals of the Sports groups. He will be remembered for sound advice and genuine interest in the people of the Parish.
