Our condolences to all the O’Shea family on the loss of Father Thomas, may he rest in peace.
We were greatly saddened by the sad news of Fr Tommy's death. We wish to offer our deepest sympathy to Kathy ,Shem ,Liam , Tom Lawler and family , The Bishop and brother Priests of Kildare and Leighlin Diocese extended family and friends on the very sad occasion of his death. May his gentle Soul rest in peace.
My heartfelt condolences to all the O'Shea's and extended family for the loss of my uncle. He was cherished by all his family and is deeply missed. Thank you for being a wonderful uncle, for the unwavering support you provided our family and my Mum throughout her life and in her final days. The memories we shared will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Sincere sympathy to all of Fr OSheas family. Fr OShea married us in 1973 and came to our 25th anniversary in 1998. We went to visit him for our 50th anniversary in 2023 but were told he wasnt well enough to meet us. R.I.P Fr OShea.

Condolences to the O Shea Families, fond memories of Fr Tom in Portlaoise when I served mass, Fr Tom was the only priest I remember that used the pulpit to deliver his sermons. He was a great fan of The popular Fiat 128 car at the time.

Fr Thomas baptised me in Mountmellick 1965. On behalf of the Church he welcomed me in to the Family of God. I have much to be thankful to him.
The fondest of memories from Mountmellick in the late 60's/early 70's of a kind and genuine priest whether it was when he called to the house or when I was serving mass. My late parents also held him in the highest of regard. May he Rest in Peace.

I remember he set up silver circle . I spent every Saturday afternoon going around to collect 1 shilling every week from parishioners so they were in weekly draw .

Very sorry to hear of Fr. O'Shea's passing he was a very warming caring and special person who could fill a room with his laugh ,down to earth and someone who enjoyed a bit of sport ,fond memories of our many trip to watch Laois play and great stories told along the way .

Fr. O'Shea was an inspirational man ,but SO humble. We have great memories of doing the newsletter in his house every Fri night for years, of distributing hampers of Intervention beef & butter(!). He gently( but insistently) encouraged us to start the Youth Choir in Ballylinan, as well as sending us to various "spiritual" events in Teach Bhríde ,Tullow. Ní bheidh a leithéid ann arís.
