Sincere condolences to the Mulcahy family, Bishop Crean and clergy on the passing of Fr. Kevin Mulcahy. We greatly appreciated the annual Mass offered by Fr. Kevin, in St. Peter in Chains Church, Ballymacoda, for exam students, on the Monday evening, prior to the start of the Junior Cert. and Leaving Cert. examinations. Each student was presented with a miraculous medal.

We send our deepest sympathy and condolences to you, Tess on the death of your beloved brother Fr Kevin R.I.P. Our sympathies also to his wonderful nieces and nephew to whom he was devoted. His Parishioners in Ballmacoda have paid lovely tributes to him and are already missing him who cared for them all.
We have memories of him as a Patrician Brother, as he was a faithful attendee at daily Mass in our chapel, so we were sad to hear news of his death. May the good Lord give him the reward for his ministry in education and priesthood and may you find comfort in the stories told of his care and attention to others. May Fr Kevin rest in peace.

50 years ago Brother Finbarr was a man I met every day at St Patrick's National School in Mallow as I got used to living in Ireland after moving from NYC...although I wasn't in his classroom I could see he had a light of joy in his eyes teaching in that school and also while encouraging us all to run... I also recall really hearing and trying to learn to back Irish traditional music airs and melody for the first time on my guitar in his classroom...
I enjoyed meeting him in later years
although it was always too brief...
