Rhoda was unique and is fondly remembered in our house. Many's the late night chats and discussions we had on high and low art with Caroline Pilkington, Rhoda, Mum myself and many of the HawksWell gang. She had such a wealth of experience and knowledge of the arts, life, femminism, literature - every subject to be fair. She will be fondly remembered and missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Deepest Sympathies to all Rhoda's family. I shared a house with Rhoda in the early 1990's. A lovely person - an independent thinker who was full of creative energy and a true leader in the arts.
I will miss our long, interesting and always unfinished chats...sometimes, very colourful whilst we debated x, y or z scenario and not always agreeing the possible outcome!
Thank you Rhoda for being such a rare gem and longstanding friend.

I had phone contact with Rhoda , through a phone line she had for mothers who lost children to adoption on Sunday afternoons in approx 2002-2003. She was passionate about this sensitive issue. That call with Rhoda was of great to support to me at that time in my life The Birth &Information &Tracing legislation will finally become law in 2022. Rhoda was involved in the discussions of that legislation in Oct 2021. Reading her contribution to that debate , i knew her passion for this issue had not changed . May Rhoda rest in peace.
