Sincere sympathy to the Nixon and Thorpe Family on the untimely death of Rhoda, we remember her from school days and the bus journey to Sligo, we were always fighting to see who could get the back seat of the bus. She was always jolly (yes sometimes mischievous) and a pleasure to know. Our prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

My deepest condolences to you and your dear family at Rhoda's passing. It's been years since I've seen you both. Please be strengthened by the knowledge of the glorious excitement Rhoda must be experiencing right now in the presence of her wonderful Lord Jesus!
Rhoda sold me my dearest precious bible 33 years ago in her bible shop in Sligo, which I've been using to preach the word since. Even though it's in very poor condition now, I would never dream of changing to a newer bible.
May the peace of God strengthen you all, through his wonderful grace and presence by Jesus Christ our Lord.

So sorry for your loss. I hadn't seen Rhoda for a long time but had been praying for her during her illness and know the pain you are going through with her passing. What an amazing Ambassador Rhoda was for her Lord and Saviour as she served Him in Ireland and Zambia. How she handled her illness with great bravery until she was called home. Now rejoicing in her Lord and Saviour. "Absent from the body present with the Lord" . Our sympathies to you David, Samuel and Christopher at your great loss. We are praying for you at this difficult time. Sorry we can't be with you on Wednesday because of the restrictions placed on our travelling but will be with you in our thoughts and prayers.

Rhoda was a perfect example as to how the Christian life should be lived, unselfishly and with grace. She lived, loved and served Jesus here and in Zambia as if He walked beside her. David Samuel & Christopher you will miss her sorely but as they walk the same path He will be your guide and comfort. We are sorry can't be with you because of these strange times

We were deeply saddened by Rhoda’s passing. She was a wonderful person who will be sadly missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.
