Rhona was my supervisor many moons ago when I started in O'Connell Bridge House and then in VRU Shannon. She took us all under her wing and treated everyone equally. We had some great nights out with her in Shannon, she was great fun and craic and we have great memories of those days. Rest In Peace Rhona.

Sincere sympathy to all of Rhonas Family. I first met Rhona 41 years ago when she was my Supervisor in The Punch Room in O'Connell Bridge House. She was such a great mentor, dedicated to her job and took us all under her wing when we came up from the Country to work in Dublin in Sep 1982. She was great fun to be around and we had some great nights with her in Kincora Flats in Shannon. RIP Rhona and Thank you for the good old days and the memories.

So sorry to hear this news. I never met Rhona in person, but worked with her via the phone, during her time in the Department in the late 90s and 2000s. She was so knowledgeable and a lovely person to work with. May she Rest in Peace.

I was saddened to learn of Rhona’s passing, to her family I wish to express my deepest sympathy. I worked with Rhona in Personnel section, Department of Housing in the Custom House. Rhona was a great work colleague and friend, very diligent and thorough in her work and always ready to offer her help to those in need. She also had a wry sense of humour (which I encouraged!) and I have fond memories of the many laughs we had together in that big Personnel room. Her laugh was contagious too and when I think of Rhona it always makes me smile. She will be greatly missed.
