Sorry to hear about the passing of Dick. An absolute gentleman who loved to chat but especially about the Blacks & Whites. A true club man.

Recently heard the news and we are all very sorry to hear of Dicks passing, we were neighbors for many years in Altamount where he always had a story to tell us. One of lifes gentlemen. R.I.P

I am really saddened to hear of Dicks passing at such a young age. In my time as a steward at Nowlan Park and with the Junior County Board I got to know Dick. He was a lovely friendly man and kind hearted. He loved his club so much and was passionate about where he came from. Sincere condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed by all.

I'm so sorry to hear the sad news of Dick's passing. He was such a genuinely kind man and a wonderful neighbour to my Aunt Peggy Comerford. They shared a love of animals and birds and chatted over the hedge daily while she was able and when Peggy was housebound he checked in on her and kept her up to date with the estate's news. We had the pleasure of meeting Dick in the Musical Society many, many years ago. He was a lovely human being. No matter when we bumped into him, it was like we had chatted to him the day before.
