Dear Maeve,
I just heard the sad news. I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to see you both during this visit but I’ll treasure very happy memories of my last visit during the summer and our lunch in Finnegans.
Richard has been a part of my life for so many years. He was a very special person, a real gentleman.
I’m thinking of you and sending love and hugs and I’ll see you when I’m home again, probably in February
