Ronnie, Niamh, Cian and all the Coveney Family, we are so sorry for your loss.

We were lucky enough to get to know Richard over the last few months and have shared many fun times during that time. The chats could take any direction, it was lovely to hear his memories and listen to his stories. He always spoke so fondly of you all.

Our Dad shared Richards love of Irish and poetry, so there have been many recitals over the months, even a few singing sessions (which I’m not sure the people around us were as enthusiastic about!)

Rest easy Richard, you will be missed xx

He was a fount of knowledge which he shared willingly with colleagues at all levels. His love for his family shone through his sparkling eyes as he spoke about them with such pride.

Ronnie and family , so sorry to hear of your loss . I worked with Dick many years ago in Cork Co.Council. He had a wicked sense of humour and always made us laugh . He was also a friend and colleague of my Phil .
