Dick was one of the great characters in the Head Office of The Munster & Leinster Bank in Cork in the 1960’s. A man of forthright opinions. Last met him in Blackrock about 20 years ago. May he rest in peace.

First met Dick when he visited our family home in Cork. I was a kid. Didn’t mask his opinions. One of the few adults who treated a kid like me like I was an adult and engaged meaningfully on matters even though my opinions were probably at best half baked! Straight shooter.
