As they attended daily mass together and their cuppa and sweet treat in Adam and Eve, it is very fitting that they make their final journey on Monday from the church together. Deepest condolences to Tommy and the Murphy family on the passing of Dick. May he rest in peace.

When Dick came home from a long stay in hospital some time ago it was Bill who drove him around. More recently, Dick did the driving duties for his brother. Both of them loved to go to the Adam & Eve café in the afternoon and it was delightful to see the repartee between the staff there and Dick and Bill (and anyone else who wanted to join in - Dick would insist!). May all the Murphy family draw strength from the bonds that united these two brothers in well-lived lives and now in death. As they daily shared in the Eucharist may the Lord bring them safely to the heavenly banquet that Isaiah spoke of, and may all your memories of them be happy and blest. Thank you for the gift of Dick and Bill's friendship that I was privileged to enjoy for many years.

The two brothers will be sadly missed by all the team at Adam & Eve. Always had a great laugh with Bill & Dick, now they can enjoy a cuppa with Kitty & Sheila. Condolences to both families. RIP
