Deepest condolences to Mary and all the family on this very sad news. Dick was such a lovely man, and I have very fond memories of him over the years at the sailing club and performing in choral with mum. Sending love to all, Hannah, Darragh and Conn.
My most sincere condolences to the family. I knew Dick in the early 1970s and he was generous, charming, and entirely genuine. He took it upon himself to introduce an American (me) to the secret delights of Ireland. I will never forget him or our time together.

I have some lovely memories of Dick the gentle fun-loving family man when spending many hours on Howth beach, children, buckets & spades making sand castles, in & out of the water playing with the kids, smiles all ‘round, filling the air with lots of laughter & making beautiful memories……
