So sad to hear about Dixie’s passing. I remember singing with Dixie many times and I always loved meeting him and having great chats. He was such a wonderful person. I only had the pleasure of meeting Uncle Dixie a couple of times but I remember him as such a character. The day after my wedding to Simon we were sat round as a family listening to him holding court along with him and Auntie Millie singing, a memorable day :)
Also a lovely service and so glad I was able to watch it from Wrexham.
