Donegal holds a special place in our family’s hearts and our regular visits have been made brighter by meeting Richard and all in the Counter. He even helped during lockdown when we joined one of his Zoom wine tastings. We were very sorry to hear of his passing and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. I knew him only as a customer of the counter but he was always so friendly and helpful. I have admired his entrepreneurial spirit from afar for a long time and always love to visit the shop and cafe when I come home to Letterkenny.
