Richard was such a dear man, we would often sit together over a cup of tea when the training season came around and put the world to right. He valued and loved his family so much and most of our chats were about them.
He was an absolute gentleman with a tender kind soul, it has been my privilege to know such a man.
There is no doubt in my mind he has left an abyss, not only in Swissport but the wider Dublin Airport community that will never be filled.
My sympathies to his family, friends and Swissport colleagues.
