Saddened to hear of the passing of Richard while I was away. At the start of my career I had the huge benefit of being mentored by Richard during my time in IBI in the 1970's. Not only did I learn so much about Corporate Finance and the great art of negotiation but on a personal level Richard had a kind and caring nature and was generous with his time which I much appreciated.
