So sad to hear of Uncle Richards passing. Every time i was ever in your dads company at your home he was fierce interesting and knowledgeable about places and his hobbies. The last memory i have of him was the tour of the garden and the different types of flowers he had planted. An earlier memory back in the 90's was his love of DIY and the sitting room door that moved position ☺️

I had the pleasure of meeting and serving with Richie in the 1st Bn from 1975 onwards. He was our Signals Platoon Sergeant as well as our Mentor and Friend (most of the time), there were more Laughs than Arguments but Never a Grudge with Richie.
He was Respected by All Ranks and All who met Him.
