Sorry for your loss, Patrick & others. I always enjoyed Richies company he was always very kind to me and mine. If there's a heaven, he's too good of a soul not to get in. Always liked listening to him talk about films. I've got fond memories of him that I will cherish always. Its really sad knowing i won't meet you around the town anymore my friend.

It was a pleasure to work with Richie last year. He got so much joy out of the soccer group, it was wonderful to witness. Richie was full of life, laughter and mischief with a great gentleness about him too. I always enjoyed seeing his very expressive t-shirts each week!

Richie was an innocent child-like adult. He was harmless and didn't have a bad bone in his body.

He loved collecting and trading dvds, he was an avid movie fan, and you could talk to him about almost any movie and he would know about it.
Another one of his favourite hobbies was playing soccer with the lads.

Richie was supposed to spend Christmas with us, however, he was admitted into A&E Sunday the 29th of December and was quickly diagnosed with acute leukemia.
He knew what was happening and he seemed to be at peace that his time was coming to an end.

Richie has now gotten his wish.
His wish was to be with our mum Maria and our sister Trish in heaven and he is now with them in heaven.

I want to thank all the nurses of St. Otteran's. Richie sometimes could be stubborn but he was a big softie at the end of the day and I thank you all for your patience, understanding and love for him.

I want to thank his housemate Sean who was like the father figure that Richie needed, and Richie would have wanted to thank you Sean.

Ultimately, Richie was dealt a bad set of cards, and although he put many smiles on other peoples faces, he himself was put through many sorrows along the way.

But now brother, you can finally be at peace.
I love you and I'll see you one day.

We were very fond of Richard and he enjoyed borrowing the dvds from Ardkeen Library. Catherine remembers having long chats with Richard about the movies. Richard was a lovely young man and may he rest in peace.

I went to primary school with richard in scoil lorcain in johns park very sound fellow, i am sorry to hear of his untimely passing .
