I have only learned of Richard's passing and wanted to extend my sympathies to his family I worked with Richard some years ago and he was a kind and attentive man who was always bright and cheerful May he rest in peace
So sad. I remember his great stories and the many laughs we had. A true gentleman. Also from a personal view the great support given to me by Richard. RIP Richard
Our sincerest condolences to Rebecca, Matthew, Asa and of course you, Jane. We knew he had found happiness when he met you. He worshipped all of you. What a very untimely loss to us all, he fought so hard on so many occasions to live. We had many fun times and I still have a little giggle, Jane, about the meal in the Foxrock gastropub - terrible food but the great company made up for it. Matthew, I have the font in Amharic, saying "Never give up," that your father gave me, he was indeed an inspiration when I needed him. I hope you're still making music! Asa, your dad fought hard for you and your education. He was a wonderful human being and a sincere, kind, gentleman. Jane, we won't make it to the UK, so sorry, on a very sad day but rest assured you're all in our thoughts. xx LOVE xx Joe & Cliona. RIP in Richard.
