I’ll never forget the pints we shared the afternoon I arrived in Ireland for the first time in 1997. You were so kind, generous and fun. We met Ricky some years ago while on our first and only trip to Ireland. Ricky was so friendly and kind and showed us around Dublin. We had so much fun. He was a fine ambassador for Dublin and the Irish. Thanks Ricky. RIP Condolences to Anne and her family.

So sad to hear the news of Ricky passing lovely memories of a lovely guy Marian and family

I remember Ricky well as a child in the late 60’s / early 70’s living just around the corner. Even then he stood out from the crowd as someone special.....Good looking kid always smiling and friends with everybody. It was the 80’s before I got to spend time with him socially, and it was always a pleasure. Our paths crossed most recently on an early morning Covid walk in St. Anne’s Park, where we stopped and had a really nice chat together, closing with a “see ya Ricky” as I expected I would. It’s really sad to lose such a young man and I know so many will feel that. Sincere condolences to Katie, Cathy, and all those who were close to Ricky and will feel the loss of him.
