Dear Betty,
We were with you in spirit and on webcam today.
It was a lovely ceremony, the singing was beautiful and it was a fitting tribute to the gentle man we knew and loved. Remember they tricked him into coming to his 60th birthday bash by saying it was for my Simon's 21st birthday party in the old Rush Golf Clubhouse.
Images of Richard with his winning expressions were fresh in our minds today. I'm going to look up a photo of the 4 golfing buddies at Kiran's family's wedding in Tramore, God knows when! Im sure you have a copy too. They were great friends to each other.

Regrettably I hadn't seen him in a while, but I will always be grateful to know such a kind hearted man as he helped me find by birth mother, for which I will be eternally grateful for all his help in searching for her. A true gentleman and true friend. May he rest in Peace. He will be sadly missed.
