His tall presence remains one of my earliest memories from childhood. Such a talented, articulate, witty, knowledgeable man, and a life lived to the full. The world will be poorer for his loss.

Tig was my uncle who always appeared larger than life; an adventurer, a buccaneer, an eco-warrior and environmentalist. His humour and wit will live long in my memory and I'm just glad to have been in touch over the last few months, sharing his research into the family and enjoying his stories. Sending love and sympathy to you Jules, hoping you'll have wonderful memories to help keep you strong.
