I was so sad to learn of Rick's sudden passing. I used to see Rick in Bushy park a couple of times a week he would usually be leaving as I was arriving and cleaning Marlay down with a towel at the car and would always say hello to me and my King Charles Chloe. I last met Helena towards the end of last year and was so glad to hear that he was out of hospital even if he had a long way to go. Rick was a gentle kind man and I send you all my heartfelt sympathy on your loss. You will all be in my prayers. May he rest in peace.

We were truly saddened to hear of the sudden death of Rick. We enjoyed so many chats together in the park. He was loved by all our guide dog pups down through the years; usually well behaved once they caught sight of Rick they were off! He will be greatly missed, may he rest in peace.

Our deepest sympathies to the McGrath family. I only met Rick a handful of times, but he always had a smile and a wave whenever we met on his walks in Bushy park.

We will really miss you Rick and we are very sad that we won’t have the chance to spend more time with you when we move home in July. We will have many stories to share with Moya about her Great Uncle Rick.

Alan and Denise and all the extended family on the very sad passing of Rickie, I have the fondest of memories from De La Salle Prep and De La Salle College of Rickie before he left us in 1969 to join the RAF . Very sorry to hear of Ricks sudden passing, my sympathies to all the family.
Rick and Marley have been greatly missed from Bushy Park over the last 12 months; we were expecting a return any day. Rick was a great man to meet for a chat especially on rugby and he enjoyed the Leinster v Munster banter. May he rest in peace.

It is with great sadness that I learned of Rick's sudden death. It was always a pleasure to meet him, usually in the woods. Buddy, after getting his treat would steal Marley's top of the range ball and we spent most of our time together retrieving it.
Rick was not only a gentle man but a Gentleman. Condolences to all the Magrath family.

I was one of those fortunate dog walkers who had the pleasure of meeting Rick and his Dad in Bushy Park over the years. Rick was a gentle soft spoken man with a welcoming smile for all. They say dogs have an instinct for inherently kind and trustworthy people. Very obvious in Rick’s case. May he rest in peace.

We were saddened to hear of Rick's sudden death. I had only sent him some doggy funnies earlier in the week. My dog Mossie would scan Bushy Park every morning in search of Rick and his big bag of treats and there he'd be mid field surrounded by dogs delving out the goodies. We were all aware of his ill health, over the past year in particular, but we hoped, as he did, that we'd get a chance to meet him and his faithful Marlay in Bushy again but sadly that's not to be. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
