My sincere condolances to stacey, aidan, richard, cassandra and tara. Rick has gone far too soon and im sure you are all still only beginning to process his loss from your lives. I became friends with rick 37 years ago, when rick had discovered his artistic, creative talents, i remember his projects he worked on at home, those realistic bats he was very proud of, i have one of his early paintings he gifted me when i moved into my first home. It is a testament to how much rick valued people and friendship that though our lives went in different directions over the years we maintained contact, and pre covid would always catchup when rick came to dublin. He was the most sincere man of interity.. Fun, joyfull, a great friend.. Rest in peace my friend x
Dear Tara, Cassandra and the rest of the family,

I’m so deeply sorry to hear of the untimely death of your beloved brother. As Tara’s childhood friend, I don’t have many memories of Rick, but I’m sure I got glimpses of him in Montrose - a house I remember fondly.

Thinking of you all at this very difficult time. May he RIP x
I am so sorry for your loss, having known Richard as a child being an old friend of Dick & Gemma’s.
May he rest in peace
Joan
Sincere condolences from Vera and David to dear Stacy, Richard and Aidan, Cassandra and Tara. To Ben, Walter and Emmett. To Rick’s nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. You are all in our thoughts. And we echo the quote of Thomas Campbell:
“To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.”
Cassandra, Tara, Stacey, Aidan and Richard a wife, brother and father, may I offer my very sincere condolences on the death of you beloved Rick. Despite being a second cousin once removed, I cannot say I knew him well as I only met him over a few days at the time of his father's death in 2018. We kept in touch intermittently by email for a time after that. May his soul rest in peace. He will be remembered in my prayers
Dear Tara, Cassandra, Stacy, Richard & Aidan,

I'm so sorry to hear of Rick's death, but am glad you all got to spend some precious time together.

My early memories of Rick as Tara's 'big brother' were in Montrose - stealing the Liga, hearing Kate Bush's 'Wuthering Heights' through the walls, and marvelling at his random creations from art college - from photographing shadowed arches on the pedestrian bridge outside his house, to weeks (months?) modelling bats - he was always working on something original....And he most certainly was one of a kind and an original.

Go n-éirí an bóthar leat
