I grew up with Ricky in Belfast, and I remember him with fondness and as someone I looked up to. He was a real character, of extraordinary talent, and someone who had time for everyone. Although it's far too many years since we last were in each company, he left an indelible mark. Rest In Peace Rickly one of the good people in life🙏

Another sad death in Keshcarrigan. We always enjoyed meeting Ricky in Gertie's, especially if there was a rugby match on. His knowledge of the rules was amazing. Condolences to the Foley family who were his second family.

We bought 1 Ceis Lawns back in 2017, and refurbished it. We were extremely lucky to have Ricky do some work on it for us. Ricky was not only a perfectionist, but also a man of his word. He gave you a price and that was it. Keshcarrigan has lost, one of its greatest characters, and it'll never be the same again. Rest in peace my good friend Ricky, and I'll drink a pint in your memory when I go down again.

First met Ricky in Cornwall, when he was over for a family wedding, a true gentleman who would help anyone out. Thanks for the tour of Dublin mate, and the laughs and tales told whenever we met up. You'll be missed by many, I'm sure. Rest easy fella.

We are so sorry to hear of the sad death of dear Ricky. We spent 15 years up and down to Keshcarrigan, and we make so many friends. Ricky was never anything but a total gentleman, and a very gentle man also. Kind & helpful. Impossible to pay him if he did any repair jobs, and if you did manage to pay him eventually, he would spend it on you in Gerties !!

I will miss you very very much, you were like a big brother to me and I will cherish all the memories that I have of you.
From Belfast to Guernsey, back to Dublin all the laughs and craic we had on the phone or when you came to visit me in Exeter and Cornwall and up in Scotland when I was there or back for a party.
The memories I have are brilliant and I thank you for them especially when I would say them to you and you would reply "feck sake you have a great memory I had forgotten about that ".
So until we meet again Cousin I will finish this as you always did on the phonecalls and say "Bye now".

Kesh was so fortunate to have such an unique character in their midst.
Ricky possesed some of lifes great qualites as he was non judgemental , easy going and had time for everyone. Sympathies to all who are saddened by his passing.
