Ricky Walsh

To Kay and all the family. I’m so sorry to hear about Ricky, I only heard the sad news last night on a podcast by Emma Tracey, another inspirational Cavan person. Ricky was the heart and soul of NCBI in Cavan, always positive, always helpful, always ready to advise and encourage. I have many many fond memories of him, thinking of his family now, you were his pride and joy, sincere sympathy and prayers at this very sad time. RIP RIcky. Bernie Rawle.

I was so sad to learn of Ricky's death. I have great memories of him in the Chronicle. He was also so cheerful and an inspiration to all. My deepest sympathies to his family.

I was so saddened to hear of Ricky,s passing, My memories of Ricky and the entire Walsh Clan are of good times. Ricky was the one with the energy who organized the games in Portlester. I was the youngest of the crew that Ricky called to play ball. Ricky was like my big brother he encouraged me to be a keeper at the garage door in his yard. It was always a blast when the Walsh crew were ready to play. We missed Mary and Ann when they headed down under. The Memories came flooding back of Ballivor in the 70's. Ricky worked played and partied hard. He was a wonderful young man who had a lot to bear during his adult life. Please accept the condolences of the Murtagh Clan Kathleen, David Donna, Amy Laura. Bea you are incredible lady I love and miss you. What an amazing Mom she is. Mary Ann Moses Mags Kevin and Caroline I will never forget being neighbors with such a wonderful family. Very sad to hear about the sad passing of Ricky,
He was an absolute gentleman, helped me when I opened the NCBI shop in Navan, we both were NCBI service users and spent many an evening on the 109 bus discussing the days activities! My sympathy extends to his family and many friend's.

Joe always enjoyed going for a stroll with Ricky & enjoyed a pint with him. He was an inspiration in the way he accepted his cross & spoke so openly about it.
