Very sad to hear of the passing of Mrs Cogan. I spent a couple of summers in my childhood picking raspberries out there in Rathduff. She was such a lovely kind lady from what I do remember. May she rest in peace eternally x

I have great memories of herself and Dick visiting my parents in Hacketstown - always so glamorous and such good fun! It was a cherished friendship which they can now continue in Heaven. Sincere condolances to the Cogan family on the passing of Rina. Rina and Dick were great friends and neighbours of Mam and Dad and the McDonalds in Tullow. After Dicks passing Rina was a dear friend of Mam (Anne) and the 2 of them spent many an afternoon chatting away and updating each other on their many and varied projects. The raspberries from Rathduff were the sweetest.

She was a true extension of my family growing up and was such an inspiration to me as a mother, a friend and a hostess to whomever crossed her door. She was unique and a true joy and we will miss her terribly ! The Byrne and Cogan families crossed the Carlow county together and left a story at every turn !
