My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Rioghnach, who was inspirational in her resilience, her positive attitude to life and in her dedication to clients. Rioghnach was always smiling when we met in the prisons, I will miss our chats. Her death is a significant loss to the field of psychology and to wider community. May she rest in peace.

I am so very sorry to hear about Ríoghnach's passing. She was one of the coolest, funniest, most interesting people I ever met. I was bestest by her in many debates, she made me laugh all the time, and I think about her often. May she rest in peace.

I worked with Ríoghnach at the Life Centre in Cork many years ago and have such fond memories of our time together. I loved watching her follow the dream career when she came to Trinity for her PhD as she always wanted it. I am deeply shocked and heartbroken to hear of her passing. Way too soon for such a beautiful soul. Rest in peace, angel.

She was an absolute powerhouse who was fiercely committed to her work and her clients. She provided a voice to the vulnerable and her kindness, fairness and empathy was evident within her work.
