Heartfelt sympathy to Dermot and children . from someone who lost their beloved mother on birth of my twin sisters many years ago . it will get easier as the goes by and your children will do very well as we did but will always remember their mother with fondness . god bless ye all .

Just like to offer our Heartfelt condolences to all of Rita’s family, especially to Dermot and her precious children on the devastating loss of their beloved Mum & life partner. I hope you will have lots of support to help you through this heartbreak and fog and for the children too and yet given the space to breathe and grieve too.

Your family has had to deal with saying goodbye to main characters earlier this year, some might say the heart of a family but no one expects for an expectant Mum or baby to die during childbirth in this day and age.
Sadly some of us know differently.
There is help and support out there should you have any concerns about care with likes of Sage Advocacy or TMS Advocacy.

Having experienced my own near death in labour and afterwards and losing our son heartbreakingly a few short years ago, when I knew things were not going to plan, as a mum my concern was for my children..
So very sorry that your children have lost their Mum at such a young age when they need her most and for your new baby daughter to sadly never know her Mum but will rely on you all to fill this huge void in her life.

May Rita rest in heavenly peace, watch over you all and be your strength in the days and months to come. Bless you all xxx
