I was so sad to hear of Rita’s passing
Rita gave such great service to St Anne’s Church, her floral arrangements were always spectacular- she paid great attention to detail in everything she did
May Rita be welcomed into her heavenly home by her beloved John
Remembering with love my dear friend Rita, wonderful to know her over many years.
She is home now with her beloved John
Condolences to Rita's extended family. She was a gentle, caring person who will be greatly missed. I know Rita was awarded the Benemerenti medal by the Church for her great work in keeping the Church beautiful but my fondest memories of Rita was her serving us Teas, Coffees and biscuits in the Parish Centre after Mass, with Her unique dry sense of humour. Rest in peace Rita, you are greatly loved by all in Portmarnock.

To all of Rita's family, and friends, I send my sincere condolences. Rita was so good, kind and gentle over the years, to Fr Jack and to me. She was a lovely companion during pilgrimages to Lourdes, and her passion for gardening and flower arranging was always evident in St. Anne's. Unfortunately I will be unable to attend Rita's funeral, but will remember her gentle soul in my prayers. May Rita Rest in Peace

Sincere condolences to Rita's family on the passing of a beautiful kind and talented Lady, she taught my self and a friend how to make beautiful bows, but the paper roses we couldn't master. Then she showed me how to make beautiful soup and insisted I go to Power City and get a soup maker, which I did, rest in peace Rita in God's Garden I'm sure he let you pick as many flowers as you want.

We will miss Rita who was a great neighbour and friend.Both Rita and her husband John were fabulous neighbours . With her love of gardening and the Church Rita was a strong supporter of her local community. May she rest in peace.
To all the Cahill and O'Brien families please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Rita. She was a real servant of the Lord. She worked tirelessly making sure everything on the altar was perfect, the flowers and the linen. Rita spend many hours seeing everything was right. She was so talented flowers were her forte and were admired by all.
We have missed you and will continue to miss you. Rest now good and faithful servant your work is done.
