Very fond memories of Rita and Ned.
They always welcomed us into their home.

Rita was my first cousin. We worked together for some years and I heard the sad news through Gillian Rice. Even though we did not see each other for years I have always enquired about her through the family. I was always amazed at her wonderful age. Also her high intelligence and knowledge in all subjects. The first time I ever flew in a plane was with Rita and my Aunt Bridie (her mother) when we went to the Isle of Man. Being that much younger as a child I always remember her when my mother and I would visit Rita in Moreno, Rita always laced up my gaiters and made sure I was well wrapped up before going out into the cold.

Rest easy Auntie Rita. Will always remember yours and Neds kindness at Christmas. Red lemonade, crisps and fancy biscuits and you had the best crib in Dublin. RIP
