I was so saddened and heartbroken to learn of Rita's passing. Even though time and distance meant we hadn't spoken in years, this news has hit me hard.
I will always remember her with great fondness from our childhood. Her laughter was contagious. Those memories are a testament to the wonderful, kind, and fun-loving person she was, even from the very beginning.
Losing someone who shared your history and your roots is an immense sorrow.
My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. My thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time.
