We are all so deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Rita. So soon after the loss of her close friend Betty. We are just heartbroken to hear it and sending all our love to Noel, Denise, Stephen and Emma and to all wider family and friends. She had a heart of gold and we will miss the poetry and the craic which she was always up for. I think she’s with Betty now. They were some women, they have taught me how to live my life. The world will be a sadder and quieter place without them 💔

Rita was one of the kindest people you could meet with an easy going manner and so easy to get along with. I only spoke to her about two weeks ago in the castle and she was her usual charming self. We have no words! Your mother, wife, sister, my aunt was the salt of the earth! A best friend to my mother her entire life! The stories of them catching birds in the backyard as little girls always makes me smile! We love you all. John Lindsay and family!
