It is with deep sadness I learned of the death of dearest Rita. She was a beautiful woman with a kind heart and a gift for baking which we all enjoyed.

I am so sorry for your loss Barry, Joanne, Tom, Eileen my sincere condolences to all of you on the sad passing of Rita , a beautiful lady with a wonderful sense of humour, we would have a giggle on every visit, her life’s stories I will hold very dear, I will never forget Rita, how she loved Daniel O’ Donnel, feeding the birds, oh how she loved seeing them fly down into the garden, we would joke they would all fly to Ritas house from Crosshaven to get fed ,her stories of her very happy childhood growing up in Blackrock, as a child she excitedly waited for new houses being built so she could go and make new friends, the dances she would go to , her love of Tennis and her trips to meet the girls at the hotel, her fave food potatoe croquettes and mini jam bons , how she loved her family so very much , I will never forget Rita , it has been an honour and a privilege to have known this wonderful woman, my thoughts are with you all .
