We, commend you, our dear Auntie Rita to almighty God, and entrust you to your Creator.
May you rest in the arms of the Lord who formed you from the dust of the earth.
May holy Mary, the angels and all the saints welcome you now that you have gone forth from this life.
May Christ who was crucified for you, bring you freedom and peace.
May Christ who died for you admit you into his garden of paradise.
May Christ, the true Shepherd, embrace you as one of his flock.
May he forgive all your sins, and set you among those he has chosen.
May you see your Redeemer face to face, and enjoy the vision of God, forever. Amen

My sincere sympathies to Jim, Paula and John.
Your mother was a person who walked into people's lives and stayed a little while and their lives were never the same again. Rest in peace, Rita.

Our sincerest condolences to all of your family for your loss from all of us in New Jersey.
"Well done thou good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will make you master over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord".
My Dear Aunt Rita, I can think of no other who can better wear the badge of Christian than you. You took me in and gave me shelter when I had none, fed me when I was hungry and welcomed my friends, strangers to you, to the very same table. You spoke kindly of all, badly of none and set a shining example for all of us who aspire to be in good standing with the Lord.
When I think of home in Ireland, I think of your home, walking down the dark lane, across the Dodder, greeted by Spud at the front door and you in the kitchen, big smile, mug of tea and something lovely and comforting to eat.
Your light has not been extinguished. It will be set as a shining example to all your grandchildred, grandnieces and grandnephews. My children will know you through story and example, and your work, though done on this earth, will live on through our prodigy and beyond.
Your loving nephew,
Kevin
