Rita will be sorely missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. I didn’t get to see her very often - but almost every year on Christmas Eve we got the pleasure of sharing her presence.

Rita was the sweetest, most kind lady and always brought so much warmth and joy to those around her.

My sympathies are with her family. I hope the wonderful memories you shared bring you comfort at this difficult time.

RIP Rita. One of the most caring and genuine people I’ve met throughout my life. I’d only see Rita once or twice a year, but I would be so excited every time. The genuine interest she shared in others lives and the beautiful sense of humour she brought to every conversation is hard to replicate. I’ll miss seeing Rita every Christmas and hearing her laugh, she really helped to ring in the Christmas season.
